This series of paper collages by artist Hormazd Narielwalla was inspired by the cult fashion curator Diane Pernet. The iconic fashionista appeared resplendent from the remnants of disposable dresses, antique patterns for clothes that were never made, and patterns for men whose meticulous measurements were made redundant by death.
Hormazd Narielwalla’s fascination of tailoring earned him the only International Rector’s Scholarship from the University of Arts, London at London College of Fashion. Narielwalla is also the author of The Savile Row Cutter , the Biography of Master Tailor of Dege & Skinner – Michael Skinner and Dead Man’s Patterns , a limited edition Artist book.
