Queen of vintage Nicky Grace is celebrating 18 years on the home ware scene with a special open house shop weekend on 27th & 28th of October 2012 at her Victorian North London home in Muswell Hill.
As part of the celebrations Nicky will open her lovely front room and help children who want to make things out of fabric. Visitors will be treated to silver charm workshops by renowned jeweler Emma Mitchell and Emma will be selling her jewelry too. There will be a wonderful selection of Nicky’s work including vintage fabric lavender hearts, beautiful mini vintage bunting as well as a selection of vintage fabric patchwork quilts and textile cards and pictures.
Visitors will also be treated to hand made floral ceramics, vintage fabric purses and makeup bags as well as handmade toys and original paintings by commercial artist Andy Bridge. There will be home made cake and a festive atmosphere.
If the weather is fine then visitors are welcome to wander in her country style garden.
Nicky Grace has been a forerunner on the vintage circuit since she first pioneered the use of vintage fabric bunting nearly two decades ago. She counts Cath Kidston, The Conran Shop, Heals and Liberty among her clients and sells direct from her website .
Nicky has an army of high profile fans who have enjoyed her unique crafts over the years and are looking forward to the 18th birthday celebration.
