A new paradigm in design: - A futuristic haven combining open plan with privacy
I chose the ‘Away Body Rebalance Experience’, lasting 1 hr. and 55 mins offering head to toe renewal. Commencing with an exfoliation treatment, which seems to prepare the body to receive the oils more readily followed by the Japanese Tsubo pressure point massage, provided the perfect treatment for rebalancing. Ela, the wonderful therapist at Away Spa, is a powerhouse of information, and was
generous with her sharing of such to assist me to integrate the various pieces of wisdom I had studied since January 2010, into a cohesive whole. My only wish was for a notepad to write down every last sharing of advice that I may utilise such to create a custom program for myself. The topics steered from maintaining personal boundaries in relationships, through to the importance of various cleanses for the body, to the value of sleeping at 10 p.m. for maintaining balance of the bodily system, through to a vitamin deficiency that I has experiencing, but had not recognised it to be such. Her reassurance and guidance was a gem in the crown of the beautiful Away Spa. Through Ela, the usual spa experience became one of a transcendent nature, as I felt the experience as a whole was incredibly healing on all levels, as everything was addressed. Ela seemed to have a highly empathic nature that was able to see exactly what was occurring in my body, and therefore what was needed to redress the balance.
