A Vintage Guild Weekend experience will be an incredible celebration of all things Northern from Guild years gone by. An amazing festival inspired and created by Wayne and Gerardine Hemingway set in Avenham and Miller Park, Preston.
Join in and wander around the stunning markets, food festival and creative workshops, and buy tickets to the fantastic selection of events from Live Music to a special Spirit of ’42 Ball.
Spirit of ’42 Ball
Get set for perhaps the most glamorous evening the city has known. Fine food, cocktails, fashion, dancing, immersive entertainment.
Taking place on Saturday 1st Sempember – curated by Snowboy, the 1940s curator from the Vintage Festival – the evening will be hosted by the UK’s number 1 George Formby impersonator, Paul Casper. Music will be provided by DJ ‘Okay For Sound’, while renowned dance teacher, Julie Brown, will teach guests to Foxtrot to the legendary 18 piece Swing orchestra The New Squadronaires, who were formed by the RAF in 1942 to boost morale.

The Vintage Guild weekend, complete with dance, fashion and music from the years gone by, as well as food, art and crafts stalls and a vintage film festival, promises to be a fabulous event for all ages that lives long in the memory.
