Our first vintage fashion fair of the new year is an exclusive event of 28 exhibitors which sure packs in all the glamour… the beautiful old Theatre will be transformed from floor to ceiling housing an array of exceptional quality vintage fashion, accessories, textiles and trimmings dating from 1800 to 1980s all ready to be discover at fantastic prices.
Beat those January blues away and treat yourself to a slice of the trends with original decade pieces that will instantly and authentically update any wardrobe. Vintage is the source of many designers inspiration allowing you to be ahead of the seasons while staying unique and expressing your true individuality.
Taking inspiration from the fashion catwalks the spring/summer collections had more than a vintage vibe… From 70’s glam, floor length flowing dresses, luxurious tunic trouser suits, pussy-bows and wide brimmed hats, all had a feminine effortless feel – the perfect look for the forthcoming month of Valentine.
…moving to the fabulous and Flirty Sixties, pops of colour and sharp Mod silhouettes, seemed as if the models had just stepped out of a Richard Avedon photograph.
Also, on hand are the fantastic alterations duo, Recycle & Sew , experts in restorations and alterations of beautiful design clothing from 1920 to 1980s. With care and love they can repair and revamp any vintage pieces and help achieve the all-important perfect fit…Whats more they can do it all while you shop around the fair! Needing to take a break from all the vintage treasure hunting?… sit back and relax in Anita’s famous vintage café – homemade cakes and refreshments are served all day on pretty vintage china.
For close to a decade, AVFF has created a one-stop haven for the season’s entire vintage needs and investment buys. AVFF truly is a vintage seeker or dealer magpies delight… offering the crème de la crème of vintage fashion, jewellery, accessories and textiles. Each stallholder has been individually handpicked for their superb knowledge and expertise – They live breathe and adore all things vintage.
