Sachiko Nitta is a Japanese artist living in London. Since the beginning of her career, her versatile talent was looking for different ways of expression. Apart from being an Animation Director, Animator (in both 2D and 3D) and Illustrator, Sachiko was always interested in crafts and hand-made designer items. She likes mixing a curious variety of different materials in her works – cloth, clay, yarn and others, adding drawings on paper and cut-outs; she like trying herself in new styles and learn new techniques. She often refers to her roots,
finding her inspiration in Japanese aesthetics, creating unique, colourful and enchanting presentations with the use of ribbons, stars and flowers, marrying natural and artificial elements.
Sachiko’s impressive portfolio includes working for such brands as Heins (TV commercial), IKEA (web commercial), WWF (logo animation), Loro Piana (website animation), Stella McCartney (website animation) and others.
We are excited to announce the latest collaboration between Sachiko Nitta and Semperey magazine, which resulted in creation of beautiful spring-themed postcards, showing the Spirit of Elegance inside a perfume bottle filled with the Semperey essence.
Sachiko is available for commissions not only as a visual artist, but also as a hand model, thanks to the rare beauty of her hands.
