Highlights span a rare 18th century French pocket lotto from Althorpto a late 20th century sculptural chair by the French artist Claude Lalanne, an exquisite micro-miniature ivory ship picture circa 1790 to a finely carved English walnut and needlepoint settee circa 1740.

A broadened range of specialities are highlighted by new exhibitors joining the 2011 LAPADA Art & Antiques Fair Berkeley Square this time, many of whom are amongst the foremost experts in their field.
Some 85 dealers take part this year, within a revised layout and enhanced stand design. A new fine dining restaurant by Rhubarb, one of London’s leading caterers, will feature extensive views across Berkeley Square, and an out-of-hours entrance allowing visitors to dine after the fair has closed.
Represented disciplines
Disciplines now represented at the Fair by new exhibitors include: Geoffrey Breeze (Bath) a specialist in antique canes; Finch & Co (London) withunusual works of art for the contemporary kunstkammer; Imago Art Gallery (London)with fine modern Italian art; Charles Plante Fine Arts (London) specialising in neo-classical watercolours and drawings; Richard Price & Associates (Dorset) with a wide range of clocks particularly French mantel and carriage clocks;Stratford Armouries Ltd (Stratford-upon-Avon) with arms & armour, and Witney Antiques (Oxon) who will focus on needlework and samplers.

Also new to the Fair for 2011 are:David Foord-Brown Antiques (W.Sussex) with Georgian furniture; Sue Killinger (Bucks) with traditional furniture and metalware;Sarah Myerscough Fine Art (London) with contemporary art & sculpture;Peter Petrou (London) bringing a selection of bronzes, ethnographical pieces, and C20th art design,and Willow Gallery (London) bringingBritish and European 19th and 20th century paintings.

Some familiar names returning to the Fair once again include Camburn Fine Art (France) offering modern & contemporary pictures;Ellison Fine Art (Bucks) with portrait miniatures, John Robertson(formerly Bourne Gallery, Surrey) offering 19th& 20th century pictures and Brian H. Watson (Norfolk) with antique glass.
Fine English furniture, jewellery, silver and 19th-20th century pictures are well-represented at the LAPADA Fair, which also feature contemporary fine art, sculpture, antiquities, numismatics, glass, ceramics and porcelain, old master drawings, rugs and tapestries, textiles, fossils, aeronautical items, prints and illustrations, Art Deco design, medieval works of art and early oak furniture, scientific instruments, portrait miniatures, and objetsvertu.
