Clara Bows Millinery was founded by Vicky Rowe whose enthusiasm for the 1920′s spilled into the fashion but most of all the creative headwear they wore during that period.
Over the years she collected vintage and antique hat patterns from auctions and scrapbooked photographs of pieces she longed to wear which she now uses as inspiration for her work.
She’s been taught many of her hatter skills by a Milliner of ‘Royal Appointment’ and has her very own unique style and flair, concentrating on making her pieces the same way as they were made in the 1920’s and 30’s but with subtle modern twists. Her elegant designs are decorated with vintage embellishments, lace, freshwater pearls, ethically sourced feathers wherever possible.
You can contact Vicky to create your very own bespoke hat or fascinator and due to popular demand she’s set up a number of millinery & fascinator workshops to pass on the skills of this age old art and craft.
