Candella Tea House

Candella Tea House

Candella Tea House, newly opened in Kensington Church Street, is a real little gem in this part of London, which has become long since overcrowded with the ubiquitous chain coffee shops.

“Candella is all about a dream world. For me, this tea house is a dream came true.” says Emma the founder. Charming, stylish and cosy interior with French Baroque accents creates an atmosphere of an enchanted hideaway; pastel frescoes on the walls and the ceiling are casting a warm glow, which even on a rainy winter afternoon makes the place look like it was filled with sunshine.

Candella Tea House proudly offers a range of freshly made sandwiches, cream teas and a delicious selection of cakes. The place is filled with curious things – you can choose to sit by a table or by the piano, which is set up as a table for two; make yourself comfortable in a red velvet chair or porch on chair-like a construction of an unusual golden metalwork… but one of the most surprising objects are their menus – small glass cubes with different options on the side.
