Chinling has the voice of a goddess, allowing deep harmonization mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. As I listen to the first track entitled Receiving, I imagine lying on a beach, with the waves flowing over my body. Stillness is felt within me, regardless of the type of day I have experienced. Suddenly my mind no longer feels the need to know, relaxing, surrendering to the radiance of the sound of her voice. There are no words to attach to, as she uses pure sounds, so listening feels almost like meditation, allowing yourself to return to your pure essence. Coherence restored.
My mind wanders to thoughts of goddesses of the world, and settles on an image of Kwan Yin, goddess of compassion and mercy. Be your own light seems a passage to that state of purity. There is so much change taking place, many people are experiencing very deep shifts in their life, and looking for some way to rebalance, to return to a true state of calm. It is a time to allow the body to return to a higher state of balance, beyond multiple cups of coffee to stimulate, and alcohol to relax…this state of swinging to and fro in duality adds far too much stress on the system which will, in time, manifest as illness. Clarity through releasing excessive thinking is beneficial for increased creativity and longevity. The second track, Be your own light, is more vibrational in nature, cleansing all negativity you may hold within, rebalancing deep into the cells…everything feels in harmony.
I am further mesmerized by Melting , the third track, as I absorb the sounds of the heavenly vocals, allowing the pure love that emanates from Chinling’s being, accompanied by the soothing crystal bowls. I adored the sound of crystal bowls from the very first time I listened to the pure resonant sounds. An instrument of peace…
