Just like Christian Dior was passionate about colours of fabrics for the clothes he designed (he wrote in his Little Dictionnary of Fashion that red is full of youth and cheerfulness), Victoire de Castellane is passionate about the colours of stones.
After all, as Christian Dior said himself, back in 1956: “Nothing is more elegant than a jumper and a black skirt, worn with a necklace with multiple shining stones”. And this is exactly how I can imagine this collection worn. Well done, Victoire!
