Winter Scrumptious Chocolate Sleepover The Cary Arms, Babbacombe Bay, Devon
Chocolate is one of those little ‘guilty pleasures’ that has the miraculous power to keep us cheerful in the cold and dull winter months. Winter is the time when we are often less inclined to worry about calories and be interested more in what tastes great. So with that cheeky thought, the team at the Cary Arms, a de Savary Property, in Babbacombe Bay, Devon, has come up with the perfect winter pick-me up – the Chocolate Sleepover. A decadent and truly scrumptious night away, the experience will allow guests to indulge in all things chocolate, while enjoying the intimacy and cosiness of the Cary Arms.
The Chocolate Sleepover includes:
- One night’s accommodation
- Full English breakfast
- Chocolate Cocktail welcome drink
- Chocolate Hamper in room on arrival
- Chocolate themed afternoon tea
- Bedtime Hot Chocolate served in the room

And for real chocolate aficionados, a trip to nearby Cockington Chocolate Company, will allow a full-on chocolate experience. The company hosts a number of workshops, from a Truffle Half Day workshop with an experienced Chocolatier, who will acquaint guests with the history, the production process and under the Chocolatier’s expert guidance the art of making fine Belgian truffles to take away. Other courses are available; learn how to make wedding and celebration chocolate cakes on Saturday 19th October (full day) priced at £160 per person (includes drinks, course notes, ingredients and finished work).
